Love and Hope
Dino and I had an amazing weekend. We had a date night that hands down was one of our best. See we used to have date night on Thursdays. Now we host a ladies night at a local restaurant and so we can't make that the date night. We moved it to Friday and so I had to go get my hair down and get some lashes on so I would look beautiful for my man. My lovely hairdresser Marsha didn't get me out of there until dang near midnight. I can't get too mad she let me write a post dated check lol so then we moved our date yet again to Saturday. I am so glad he didn't give up on it. He dressed up and I think I looked amazing for him. Lashes were still on from the previous day. We went to a friends salon anniversary party. I try not to travel without the camera so I took pictures while the dj (yes there was a dj in the salon) played choice music and Dino and I mingled and even got some networking done. Dino has been needing a manicure since we met so they were offering services there so he got his manicure and I will admit it looked great. This also happened to be in the middle of Gallery Hop in the short north so everything just had a sexy feel! We got the Chrysler 300 washed and headed back to Martha's for the second time that day. Earlier in the date Dino wanted something to eat. So we head back, go in and who is there? My girls from the hairdresser Debbie and her sister. They didn't know I had gotten married and let me tell you I started flipping through pictures and showing them just how much I love this man. We had a few cocktails then Dino and I danced the night away to DJ Quik. I even dragged Dino to the top stage to dance. He didn't mind after a while. He had DJ Quik play his theme song "Daddy's Home" by Usher. He loves that song! Don't know what I did to get such a loving and fun partner in life but I promise you I will do everything under the sun (legal and spiritually legal) to keep him happy and upgrade his quality of life. At the end of the night he posted on my FB wall that he was going to call me Super Wifey. I love him. Another happy post by this diva.

eternal surprises
Man sometimes I just need somewhere to exhale that doesn't have such a public forum. I stopped blogging last year because I met the love of my life around that time. He is now my husband of 3 months and I am continually surprised at how great things keep getting. Like to have a partner that is so in tune with you is intoxicating. He is my strongest addiction. We had an amazing elopement on a private beach in Clearwater captured by two great photographers and our pure passion is so evident. Due to budgetary reasons we are only enlarging our favorite pictures one or two at a time (kind of creating this shrine to us lol) and I guess its just simple we get each other. No bull, no games, no hurtful words just unconditional love. I love the kids he had before me and he loves mine that I had before him.
Suprisingly we have lost some friends we thought would always be by our side. He told me the other day that at some point its just going to be the two of us and he says that's how it's probably supposed to be. I think I motivate him in positive ways and I know he has a powerful impact on me. I want to be a better everything with him. I cook more and clean more for this man that I have ever done. It doesn't even feel like a chore it is just because I want him happy. He cooks the most amazing dishes for me and even makes them diet friendly for my never ending yo yo diet. He supports my spiritual growth and I continue to pray that he grows spiritually united with me. It is our only disconnect. It is an important one. This diva is on cloud nine and I never want to leave it from my amazing husband Big Dino Hughes.
